We use both indoor and outdoor learning and have lots of new and exciting areas of learning to explore. We will be developing our independence, making new friends and learning lots of new things! Our topic for the half term is all about Food. We will be learning to tell a story called 'The Runaway Chapatti'. We will even make some to try! We will also read Handa's Suprise which is a book about fruit and is set in Kenya. We will be tasting lots of fruit from the story and talking about which ones we like and don't like!
We offer lots of support to parents and will arrange workshops over the year so you can help with your child's learning. We have a very exciting parent programme, called Incredible Years, beginning in October. Places are filling up quick but please speak to Eve Goodgrove if you would be interested. A creche is available for younger children and it is at school on Wednesday afternoons.
