Oak class will have PE on Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Tuesday =  Indoor PE

Wednesday = Outdoor PE

Please remember to send your child to school with PE kit. They need a pair of
trainers, a white/blue t-shirt and plain grey/black/blue shorts or a plain
grey/blue/black tracksuit.
No jewellery can be worn during PE lessons: earrings must be removed.

Please make sure all items are clearly labelled.

Summer 1  – What Grows in Norfolk Park?

• Our new science topic is all about plants. We will be sorting, classifying and and finding out about the life cycle of plants. We will also learn about the different types of trees.
• In D&T we will be focusing on food technology. We will learn where our food comes from and make links with our science learning about fruit and vegetables. We will make our own healthy salads.
• In Literacy we will be looking at fairy tales and poems. We will study Jack and the Beanstalk and rewrite our own version. We will grow our own beanstalks to help us with instruction writing. 
• In maths we will be begin the early stages of multiplication and division. We will keep learning our 2, 5, and 10 times tables. We will also begin to look at fractions (1/2 and 1/4) in the last few weeks of term.
• In Citizenship we will focus on how to stay safe online.
• In RE we will  learn about Islam and Eid.
