PE INFORMATION:
Please remember to send your child to school with PE kit. They need a pair of trainers, a white/blue t-shirt and plain grey/black/blue shorts or a plain grey/blue/black tracksuit.
No jewellery can be worn during PE lessons:earrings must be removed.

Science - This half term we are going to explore the human circulatory system. We will look at the different components that make up this vital system in our body and how they work together to keep blood flowing and delivering oxygen and nutrients to different organs. We will compare the human circulatory system with that of other animals.
We found and measured our pulse rates and began to investigate how this changes during exercise and the effect this has on our heart.
Literacy - We also began to read ‘Pig Heart Boy’ by the acclaimed author Malorie Blackman which looks at the decision a family needs to make to save the main character’s life. WE will write a balanced argument based on the book.
In literacy we will be writing a story based on the short film 'Alma'. .
Maths - We will be learning even more about addition, subtraction, multiplication and division this half term as we prepare for our SATs. We will also be learning about statistics, shape and position and direction.
Art - We are learning all about different sculptors and creating our own sculptures of the human body.
P.E - We are learning about rounders.
R.E - We will be learning all about faith in action and what different religions look like in today's world.
RSHE - This half term we will be learning about internet safety and the importance of privacy and how to stay safe in terms of gaming, strangers and being kind
