We use both indoor and outdoor learning and have lots of new and exciting areas of learning to explore.  We will be developing our independence, making new friends and learning lots of new things!

Autumn 1 - During our first half term in Nursery, our topic is 'All About Me.' We learn all about ourselves and our friends, and how our differences make us special and unique. We encourage families to bring in photographs and share with us things that are important to them. We also learn about the new routines of Nursery and our exciting indoor and outdoor areas.

Autumn 2 - During our second half term in Nursery, our topic is 'Down in the Woods.' We learn all about nature, seasons and animals. We love looking at different books, such as Owl Babies and non-fiction texts. We also look at different celebrations that are important to us.

Spring 1 - We welcome you back to Nursery after the holiday with a skills - based half term, looking at what we do well and what we need to practice. We do lots of exciting and new things during this time, and it is tailored specifically to the needs of each child.

Spring 2 - This half term, we are looking at 'Transport' and 'People Who Help Us.' We look at lots of stories and non-fiction texts, learning all about the world around us. We enjoy learning about the different modes of transport and the different people who can help us in our communities.
